20 Award-Winning Microscope Images

Microscopic images are considered by photographers as one of the most interesting topics on their hobby as photographers.

One of the world's most popular camera, Olympus, is doing its best to support the hobby of avid photographers as they initiated the BioScapes International Digital Imaging Competition, which celebrated its ninth year in sponsoring the event.

The competition, Olympus BioScapes Digital Imaging Competition recognizes outstanding images of life science specimens captured through light microscopes, using any magnification, any illumination technique and any brand of equipment.

Shown below are the images of 20 winners and honourable mentions from the competition:
